General Description / Primary Purpose

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide administrative support to the Dean of Continuing Education, including but not limited too, scheduling meetings, taking accurate minutes, developing external and internal communications, maintaining records/files/databases, managing classes and revenue generating activities, supporting the dean’s council and maintaining the overall organization and décor of the DCE Offices. Additionally, tracks grants, develops office checklists, processes, and procedures, and does research on businesses as requested. Secondary responsibilities include, developing a instructor evaluation database for the DCE, supporting specific tasks for the OLLI program director and providing back up coverage to the Customer Care Team.

The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support to the Dean of Continuing Education by performing the following job functions: – Assist upper level management in the overall administration pertaining to the program. -During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma and seven years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Bachelor degree , Advanced Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
Prior experience tracking budget revenue and expenses.
Become proficient in Campus CE and EMS
