Job Summary/Responsibilities

The Entertainment Director-Producer is responsible for the entertainment division of Spinnaker Television. All non-news programming falls under the direction of the Entertainment Director. The Entertainment Director must be experienced in creative production and supervision. They must be organized and able to work with other staff to create a well known program and have a good understanding of video, cameras, non-linear editing and video file formats.

Required Qualifications

Meet weekly goals set by Station Manager
Be available for weekly office hours
Be responsible for finding talent and creative staff for shows
Develop creative ideas for college-oriented programming
Produce at least one episode per week
Secure proper talent rights and releases for each show
Stay aware of trends in the industry
Pay is a lump sum contingent on meeting the responsibilities and qualifications of the position consistent with a minimum of 15 hours of competent effort each week.
Communicate with staff according to department policies
Be continuously enrolled at UNF for the duration of the position and not be on academic probation or suspension according to most recent UNF course catalog.
