Job Summary/Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator manages the day-to-day activities that are vital to the establishment of the ESOL Career Ladder for Student Success (ESOL CLASS) project such as:

- Possessing a thorough understanding of the project with the ability to answer inquiries by potential participants and the community
- Hiring for grant-related employees as requested, including part-time faculty, faculty/employee supplemental compensation, other contractual employment
- Help with preparing quarterly and annual reports for the Funding agency
- Assist with p-card management and other ordering as needed
- Marketing
- Scheduling perspective participants for interviews, validating credentials, registering accepted candidates, scheduling candidates’ courses, matching candidates with mentors
- Monitoring and processing the lending of technology
- Take minutes at meetings

No project can run smoothly without a capable coordinator who anticipates the needs of the project to ensure its efficiency. This position requires constant communication with hosting principals and ensuring that the candidates are faithful to the university policies and procedures for which they are covenanted

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma
- Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors/Masters Preferred
- 2 years experience in grant writing for external and/or internal agencies
