The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility. Also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of store rooms & back of the house area. Some stocking and rotating of food items is required. Light prep that may includes peeling potatoes, peeling and deveining shrimp and various other tasks as kitchen needs arise.

Completion of ninth (9th) grade required

High School diploma or equivalent

This position requires a level II background check, which includes fingerprinting. In
conjunction with the University’s policy, this position may also require a credit check.
