Job Summary/Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the COAS Deans and support COAS Deans’ staff.

Professionally greet all students, faculty, and visitors.

Answer telephone and direct callers appropriately; is a knowledgeable resource and problem solver.

Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies.

Assist in preparing signage, reports, and correspondence as needed.

Assist in receiving and routing incoming and outgoing mail.

Assist with the planning and preparation of various departmental events.

Scan documents into imaging system.

Run errands as needed.

Maintain professional appearance of main office space.

Maintains confidentiality of student records.

Required Qualifications

Must be current UNF student who is eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS) funding via the FAFSA/Financial Aid.
In support of the College of Arts and Sciences Deans Office staff, this position requires a professional, dependable, positive, friendly, organized, outgoing and self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, this position requires someone who is willing to work in an environment with strong emphasis on providing customer service in conformance with the University’s mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer current College of Arts and Sciences students in good academic standing with a 2.5 or better grade point average.

Candidates with previous customer service experience preferred.

Computer Skills Required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
