Job Summary/Responsibilities

Provide support for video conferencing activities including the setup of conferences and the operation of the equipment during conferences. Assist in the operation and maintenance of videoconferencing facilities at UNF. Operate the relevant room equipment during calls and oversee the entire conference to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.

Operate various short-haul and long-haul, Video conferencing equipment
Assist with the distribution and return of UNF VC equipment for and with Inventory management functions, such as receipt, inspection, issue, return-to-a location etc. Perform other duties as required.

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Academic Technology/Telepresence in the Center for Instruction & Research Technology.

Work Schedule: 10-15 hours per week; some evenings on an as-needed basis.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate in a team environment.
Ability to handle troubleshooting of systems in a fast-paced environment.
Work in the information technology, management information systems or equivalent field and demonstrated knowledge of working with integrated audio-visual components such as VCRs, DVDs and document cameras is helpful but not required. Technical training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with videoconferencing equipment or desktop support a plus.
